Ég hef rekið eigin lögmannsstofu í Reykjavík frá árinu 2007 og veiti almenna lögmannsþjónustu á helstu sviðum lögfræðinnar. Sérsvið mitt er rekstur dómsmála sem varða grundvallarmannréttindi svo sem friðhelgi einkalífs, fjölskyldu og heimilis, æruvernd, tjáningarfrelsi og réttláta málsmeðferð á rannsóknarstigi og fyrir dómi. Ég hef rekið fjölda einkamála og sakamála fyrir héraðsdómi, Landsrétti og Hæstarétti. Þá hef ég rekið fjölmörg mál fyrir mannréttindadómstól Evrópu í Strassborg.
I have been in legal practice in my own law firm in Reykjavík since 2007, providing general legal services in all the principal areas of law. I have specialised in cases relating to fundamental human rights, including the right to privacy and family life, protection of reputation, freedom of expression and due process at the investigative stage and before the courts of law. I have served as counsel on numerous civil and criminal cases before the District Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. I have also been counsel in a number of cases before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
